The jars are constructed from high-quality, durable glass allowing ingredients to be identified easily. Features a rubber wood air-tight lid keeping your contents fresher for longer. Jars are dishwasher safe (WITHOUT VINYL LABEL). Hand-wash lid only and dry thoroughly before re-using. Use with dry goods only.
Please note: When product is new lid tends to pop up due to pressure and size of canister, best is to push down lid and twist to prevent this until lid settles.

About bamboo
Bamboo is a natural material. Each piece is unique and will vary slightly in appearance. Colour variations occasionally occur in bamboo throughout its life, however, this is a natural characteristic and not a product defect. Bamboo can develop cracks due to rough handling and changes in weather. All our bamboo products are treated with a varnish providing a good coating on the surface of the product, giving it a soft sheen finish and protecting it from moisture. In saying that, as it is a natural product, the bamboo should not be washed or be left wet for a long period of time.
DO NOT submerge bamboo in water. Only wipe with damp cloth then dry with a tea towel.
If your products do go mouldy, to clean use distilled vinegar to rub off the mould and leave it to sit for an hour. Wipe the area clean with water and allow surface to dry.
Glass Care
Please fill jars with caution, the heavy impact of some ingredients especially 500g fettuccine/spaghetti could break the bottom of the jar. Be careful when using sharp or hard objects in the glass. The glass is fragile and it may crack upon impact. Glass jars are dishwasher safe (without the vinyl label and bamboo lid) but hand washing is recommend.
